Landscape and Playground Design for All

The field of designing playgrounds is one I was warned off when studying Landscape Architecture. A litigious minefield to stay well away from was what one of my lecturers warned me. This seemed a shame because who studying landscape design wouldn’t want to be involved with designing a playground. So while I didn’t actively pursue design projects of this nature neither did I shy away when they did appear.

How to judge a construction quote

I’ll assume at the very least you’ve had a landscape design drafted up into a scaled plan otherwise how do you know what you are buying? And equally if someone is presenting you a quote based on nothing but a conversation then where does the accountability lie? So please, make sure you’ve got a scaled landscape design in plan format before you go seeking a construction estimate.

Landscape Design Events in Brisbane

I’ll keep this short because there is not a lot of any significance to speak about. I attended the Queensland arm of Landscape Expo yesterday but this was held down on the Gold Coast. For some reason the outdoor capital of Australia does not rate its own event.
