Now that you have a mud map of what you’re hoping to achieve with your landscape its probably an opportune time to decide how you’re planning on making it a reality. This comes down to the question of to DIY or not to DIY.

Where to Start. pt 3Now that you’ve found your ‘sweet spot’ (and if you’re coming to these posts late you might want to go back to the previous one before getting too excited) its time to expand around this. The sweet spot might be the perfect place to be but ask yourself what it is you want to do there and whom do you want to share it with? Of course some of these questions might be determined by the constraints of the space you find yourself in but assuming you’ve got options it’s a matter of tailoring this space to suit your desired purpose. (image below is of Beehive lounge from Extremis) Where to start. pt 2Landscaping Guide & Landscaping Starting PointsA while back I posted some thoughts on where to start when embarking on a landscape project (where to start landscaping). In hindsight it was a bit limited. I think having run into a swag of potential clients who had spent years ( up to 20 in one case ) doing nothing because they didn’t know where to begin I snapped. My advice being to just start somewhere! I think perhaps its time to revisit the question and offer some more constructive thoughts. I’ll tackle this over a few posts. Landscaping in the futureHaving been asked to do a presentation night regarding current and future trends in landscape design I’ve been trying to think like a futurist. While prediction is a hazordous game I think one area its safe to say will have a growing impact is technology. A recent example is the Shroom light pictured below.
